FrontPageThe premier monthly hackathon event that combines serious and not-so-serious productivity with a fun and exciting party atmosphere.
SuperHappyDevHouse is a non-exclusive event intended for creative and curious people interested in technology. We're about knowledge sharing, technology exploration, and ad-hoc collaboration. Come to have fun, build things, learn things, and meet new people. It's called hacker culture, and we're here to encourage it.
Join us for SHDH 35 at Palantir on November 7th!
If you like SuperHappyDevHouse, you're going to love Hacker Dojo, a 24/7 innovation center in Mountain View, CA. Please join as a member!
In the MediaDevHouse gets talked about in the blogosphere fairly often, but when we get covered by mainstream media, you can imagine we get pretty excited. Here is some of the coverage we've gotten so far that we'd like to share:
The video above was made by Ryanne Hodson and Jay Dedman at SHDH 9, and we feel it does a good job at capturing what SHDH is like. Here are some other videos worth sharing:
Inspired EventsWe absolutely love it when people startup their own DevHouse events. Here are some of the ones we know about:

SHDH has also influenced other events such as Hack Day, Mash Pit and even BarCamp.

Special Thanks
SponsorsWe're proponents of self-sufficiency, but as a not-for-profit cause we gladly take and appreciate the help of others. Many of these companies have provided their space as a venue for SHDH events, which is probably one of the biggest contributions you can make for us. We greatly appreciate them for that, especially because we're very picky about our venues. But we'd like to especially thank MDV for bankrolling our event for the past year or so, paying for all our food and drinks, as well as equipment and tables when needed.

Will a open comment at the end of the page prevent people from appending junk to the end automatically?

i have been working in software configuration management at various employers for several years. I have never worked as a developer. Is there something for me at SHDH? Don't want to waste your time, or eat your food, if I cannot contribute...tks.John
